Duration : 1 hour - Price : $14.00 - Place : Washington (20009)This course will cover all topics in the Algebra I curriculum, including Common Core Standards, PARC Standards, and any specific state/school standards that the student requires. This course will be very immersive for the student, as I like to give them a lesson to digest, and then begin practicing the skills and topic as independently as possible. Then, I will do more guided work with each student at the pace that is right for them. I also will give daily assessments in order to ensure students are mastering the topics at the necessary pace. I am a very fun, and caring teacher! I bring a lot of joy, and jokes, to my classroom. I love to make math fun for students who might even think they "hate" math.

Course setup
I have been giving lessons now for just shy of 5 years. I have had high school classes as big as 30 students per class, to working with 5-6 students at a time during rotating stations in the elementary grades. I hold my students to extremely high academic expectations, and they always meet them. I develop a mutual respect between myself and my students, and that has always been instrumental in the overall student achievement at which we arrive.
