About Evelyn
Algebraic fluency starts with a single logical step. This first session moves quickly through core concepts to establish where you currently sit. We will focus on the fundamental axioms before moving into more challenging problem sets. My lessons are designed for serious students who want to understand the mechanics behind the equations.
You can expect a rigorous environment that mirrors high level competition math. I enjoy seeing students finally grasp the underlying structure of a proof. Please bring your current materials so we can start immediately.

Teaching provides a rare clarity that I enjoy. To be honest, I often find the most complex algebraic structures are actually quite simple once you strip away the confusion.
Over 14 years, I have worked with hundreds of pupils to refine their grasp of advanced algebra. My academic journey at the Australian National University led me to a PhD in Mathematics. I focus on helping Olympiad track students bridge the gap between simple exercises and formal proofs.
During these 14 years, I have seen many students achieve top study scores and E4 results through consistent practice. It remains a privilege to watch these individuals grow into capable thinkers.
