About Jesse
I am a engineering student at UBC. I attended Somerset College High School in South Africa and I was awarded academic honors upon graduating. I took an advanced programmed mathematics course in addition to the standard Curriculum.
A little about me outside the classroom, I am a passionate surfer, I compete in Field Hockey for UBC and I enjoy camping and exploring the outdoors.

My teaching methods are based in practicality. I will try to link the subject matter with something familiar in a student's life in order for new topics and problems to synthesize much more easily. I am also a firm believer in 'practice makes perfect'. I encourage my students to practice as many questions as possible so that by the time they are examined there will be nothing they have not seen or practiced before.
