About Drenisha
I am a teacher currently and have been for quite some time but I have been tutoring elementary and middle school students for the past 5 years or so. I have also worked as a Youth Counselor at the Boys and Girls Club of America. Can you tell I just love our youth? With me as your tutor, not only will you succeed academically, but you will succeed as a person. The relationship between you and I will always remain professional and most of all respectful. Hello all! I have a BS degree in Psychology. I have been a Reading Inteventionist since 2018. My everyday lessons are full of engagement and fun! Since I am an Intensive Reading teacher, the class can get boring and a little bit discouraging at times. If you are placed in my class then that must mean you are below your current grade level. It is our job as teachers and students to work together to reach our academic goals. We will experience productive struggle, but that is okay. Micheal Jordan was too short to play basketball and his high school coach did not believe in him. Look at him. He became one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Why? Because he did not give up. So let's keep picking up the pieces to get to where we want to be academically. With hard work and effort of course!
