About Shilpa

Hello! I’m a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic online tutor who enjoys helping young children learn and build confidence.

I believe that every child learns differently, so I try to make my lessons simple, interactive, engaging, and comfortable for each learner. I encourage children to ask questions, participate actively, and learn without feeling pressured.

I can support students in English, Hindi, Math, and EVS for Grades 1–5, including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, basic mathematics, problem-solving, and general schoolwork.

I especially enjoy working with young learners and helping them understand concepts through examples, activities, conversation, and practice.

My goal is not only to help children improve academically, but also to help them become more confident and curious learners.

I look forward to meeting your child and making learning a fun and positive experience!

About the lesson

Fun & Supportive All-Subject Tutoring for Grades 1–5!

Welcome! I provide friendly, engaging online tutoring for children in Grades 1–5. My goal is to make learning easier, more enjoyable, and less stressful for young learners.

Subjects we can work on:

- English – reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and comprehension
- Hindi – reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and conversation
- Math – numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, problem-solving and more
- EVS – basic science, environment, animals, plants, our surroundings and everyday concepts

What your child can expect:

- Simple explanations suitable for their age and level
- Interactive questions and activities
- Practice exercises to strengthen understanding
- Help with schoolwork and homework
- Reading and writing practice
- Patient and encouraging guidance
- Lessons adapted to each child's learning needs

My teaching style

I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and encouraged. I use examples, questions, activities and conversation to keep lessons interactive rather than relying only on memorization.

Whether your child needs help with a particular topic, wants extra practice, or needs regular support across multiple subjects, lessons can be adapted to their individual needs.

Perfect for international and NRI families

I welcome children from different backgrounds and can help children living outside India learn Hindi while also supporting their English and primary-school subjects.
