I have been tutoring with Joy for a few weeks now and have definitely felt more confident in my work. Before I started with him, I was working at around a grade 7, but with his help I am now at a grade 9. He has been able to help me achieve this in only a few weeks. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to bump up their grade.

I was beginning to find GCSE chemistry very difficult and I struggled quite a bit in lessons. But thanks to Joy, I am now performing much better in both lessons and assessments. He is very knowledgeable and helpful as well as friendly and approachable. I highly recommend him as a tutor.

When Joy started tutoring me I thought it was going be just like school, very stressful and quite boring. However, I was quite surprised to how his lessons with me are understanding as he makes sure I 100% understand the topic we are covering before we move on. I’ve improved so much with my maths, science and french in school with Joy. He also tries his best to make most lessons as fun as possible. He has made me more confident than ever in maths, science and french. He has also made me want to pursue biology at A-level.

Joy initially tutored me in Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSE, before single-handely teaching me the A-level Mathematics course. He is very thorough, relentlessly explained to me topics I could not wrap my head around and consistently set me past-paper questions in preparation for the exam. I can genuinely say he has greatly improved my work ethnic and confidence in my own abilities.

I was so happy to find Joy at a time my daughter Vinny was losing her confidence in the subject and was losing self belief and motivation. The school didn't really help her. However Joy was very expert in subject knowledge and though I started the tutoring very late in the year when exams were looming, he turned the situation around; giving her confidence, key skills, motivation and exam technique and he coached her to focus and believe in herself. Very professional positive tutor with a passion for Maths, just what she needed. I'm very grateful. He reinstilled in her passion for the subject and self belief and brought out the best in her.

As university student, I come across problems that I lack the understanding of and can’t explain/convey to an ordinary tutor. However, Joy is the only tutor that I have come across that is competently able to empathise with my issue and cater to my level of understanding, whilst throughly explaing the answer. For this reason primarily, he is honestly the best Maths teacher I have been taught by.

Joy taught my daughter GCSE Maths. School had somehow turned her off Maths and she was in danger of failing. Joy’s kind and patient manner encouraged and focussed her. From a predicted 3 she attained a level 7, a testament to his ability to explain and motivate. I’d thoroughly recommend him.

Joy was able to give me the boost I needed to understand and apply techniques and formula used in A Level Maths. I entered A level maths with a grade B in GCSE, however through the help of Joy he was able to help me achieve my A in maths. I would happily recommend him to anyone, as he will help you achieve the grades you need

I started maths tution pretty late into the year. Having Joy as my tutor helped me a lot. In a couple of months we tasked the hard questions that would probably would've took 2 retakes. Overall, he helped me in a short amount of time and if anyone is considering having Joy as their tutor, I recommend it.

Joy was an friendly and approachable tutor, who provided help during his free times on many occasions at the school I attended.

He was quickly able to spot my weaknesses in my maths and correct them by providing additional work to improve these areas. This helped me strengthen my knowledge of harder topics in A level maths. He was able to help me in all areas of my maths course, including Core Maths and additional topics such as Statistics and Mechanics. The explanations and techniques he gave to solve the difficulties I had were very easy to understand and memorable so they could be used again.

Joy was an excellent tutor and I highly recommend him for maths tuition as he is very knowledgeable in all areas of maths and has a highly effective teaching method.

Joy is an excellent tutor , He has helped me with my maths GCSE.
He is definitely a strong role model .I find him very motivating .Whenever I find myself stressing or panicking he stops me and explains why am I wrong and then , explains the correct way to complete the task. Joy`s teaching methods are very logical which makes it easy . I strongly believe that whoever he teaches will be a very lucky and will learn a lot with him .

Joy has been helping me with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics A-levels and has been completely helpful. He ensures that each specific area is completely understood before moving on to something else which I find extreme useful! Whilst tutoring, He comes up with analogies that automatically converts something that seemed extremely complicated to what's more easier to get a grasp of. I would recommend Joy for anyone as he is a jovial and enthusiastic tutor.

Joy is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! He helped me throughout my first year at University with all of my maths modules, even ones he didn't do himself and volunteered his time whenever I had any questions, no matter what time! He was so good at explaining things and making it easier to understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone, 10/10!!

Joy has helped me massively in Mathematics. I struggled in my first academic year at university but Joy’s tutoring in my second year helped me gain more confidence and increase my understanding of the course.
Joy throughout the two years I have known him has shown himself to be an exceptional tutor and someone who is very reliable. On the occasions where I have lacked motivation or wanted to give up Joy has always been patient with me and encouraged me to keep trying. Joy has excellent communication skills, which have allowed him to always manage to effectively explain advanced mathematics in a way that is much easier to understand. Joy has not only helped me understand difficult mathematical concepts but also increased my confidence in myself and my capabilities. The enthusiasm with which Joy teaches also made the sessions in which he has tutored me much more enjoyable and it is clear how passionate he is about mathematics and how much he truly enjoys helping.
