About Don
As a visual artist, award-winning stylist and former Image Consultant, I currently assist my tailor with design and fabric choices. I also provide alterations as needed. I have a sustainable winter scarf line made from wax cotton remnants from West Africa. Originally a Texan, I now reside in NYC with my wife.

Learning the basics of sewing provides the student with foundational skills that will enable them to be creative and produce real items of their choice. This class will be the beginning of a healthy journey in sewing. Understanding the machine is a great asset that will help with minor repairs and adjustments.
