About Emery

I am a huge believer in the art of performance as a vocalist and how story telling elevates a performance. I have performed at the Lyric Opera House, with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, at a Baltimore Orioles baseball game, and clubs in the Boston area. I studied music at Baltimore School for the Arts and am in my last year at Berklee College of Music. I have been in countless productions including musicals, opera productions, choral/orchestral performances, and rock bands. I even co-wrote an opera and performed in it.

About the lesson

I find it important to integrate both healthy singing and music theory. My students learn basic music theory while expanding their repertoire and learning how to properly utilize their breath and support to work towards healthier and clearer singing.
A typical lesson with me will consist of warm ups, vocal drills, learning and nailing down repertoire, and basic music theory.
These lessons are for anyone who wants to hone in their craft and become proficient at reading and understanding written music.
