About Rachel
After graduating from UEA, I left the UK to travel and have been living in New Zealand since the start of the pandemic. Aside from painting and creating, I love to surf and generally spend time in the outdoors! As an Artist I don't think there's any greater inspiration than nature!

Maybe you have an art project you need some direction with; maybe you have never considered yourslf a creative soul but would like to explore the world of creative expression with a little help & guidence?
I have studied art throughout my schooling years and have a Fine Arts Foundation Diploma. I practice art on the daily and currently find myself abandoning a lot of what is traditionally 'taught' when it comes to painting and drawing. I have taken myself back to the foundations of artistic expression and currently strive to produce works of art in what I describe as a 'free-flow' state. I think this approach is a great place to start if you have fears of imperfection and is an immensely useful practice for anyone, whatever their creatove goals may be.
