About Özgün

I am a creative person who thinks outside the box, likes to follow innovations closely and is dedicated to self-improvment in many ways. You can often see me watching videos or reading news about technological developments, playing the guitar or singing songs, producing electronic music, trying to improve my financial literacy, reading theoretical books such as philosophy and space exploration or poetry and novels, repairing and remodeling things. While learning what I know, I also enjoy conveying the ease that foreign languages and cultures provide me to the people around me and to my students. Information exchange is never one-way, and every teacher learns as they teach. That's why I'm a teacher and will be one for the rest of my life.

About the lesson

Depending on the student's language goal, lessons can be communication or exam oriented. Depending on the level, lessons may be taught in the target language only (for students starting at more advanced levels) or with native language support (for beginners).

In communication-oriented English education, the equal development of each of the 4 basic skills, which are reading, writing, listening and speaking, is aimed and the lessons progress in this direction. The basic principle is that the student can produce communication in the target language in daily life and in the academic environment.

In exam-oriented education, on the other hand, it is essential to teach the strategies for the exam in which the student is in the preparation process. Lessons can be conducted with question-answer technique.

Since I am a certified educator on the use of technology in language education, interactive tools will be used effectively in online lessons. Problem-based learning techniques that enable the acquisition of 21st century skills for school-age students (primary, secondary and high school) will be included in the lessons.
