About Vivienne
As a dancer originally trained in the Vaganova method, and later exposed to a wide range of ballet methodologies, I understand how overwhelming the sheer number of ballet training options can feel. By the time I reached a professional level, I had distilled the strongest elements from each method into an approach that honored ballet tradition while remaining up to date with the most progressive of ballet techniques. Now, I’m excited to pass on the knowledge and experience I gained through my professional training to my students.
I believe in encouraging growth in my students while remaining patient and attentive to their individual journeys. It is a pleasure for me to get to know my students and learn about their individual obstacles, as well as aspirations, so that I might help them improve and become stronger in a short and efficient amount of time.

Hi there! I'm Vivienne, a graduate of Washington Ballet. In addition to my professional training schedule, I teach dance to adults and teens/children alike throughout the DMV! It is my pleasure to bring quality ballet lessons directly to you, on your own schedule. Here's a little more information about the lessons I provide:
-Personalized lesson plans to help you reach your goals (fitness, posture, cheer/skating supplement, musicality, ballet technique advancement)
-Half a decade of teaching experience in both a private setting and with ballet schools
-No need to supply any equipment--I travel with barre!
