About Cheryl
Economics feels difficult until you realize that every market follows the same predictable rules. Price elasticity is rarely about memorizing a formula and always about understanding how consumers behave when the stakes change. I provide custom topic summary sheets that simplify macroeconomics, game theory, and national income into digestible segments. Because I spent 4 years at Macquarie as a quant, I frame these topics through a quantitative lens that makes data response technique much easier to master.
We will draw diagrams until the relationship between market efficiency and government intervention becomes second nature. If you find yourself lost in GDP calculations or competitive market models, we can revisit the fundamentals until they click. My goal is to ensure you possess the tools to analyze any economic situation without hesitation. Just bring your syllabus and a willingness to look at the numbers objectively.

Studying the economy involves understanding how systems interact under pressure. I transitioned from a BCom degree at ANU and 4 years as a quant at Macquarie into teaching economics for 197 students.
Most IB, AP, and A-level candidates fail to bridge the gap between supply and demand theory and actual data response technique. I focus on making these abstract models tangible through clear diagram drawing and logical deduction. I have spent 4 years refining these methods to assist exam candidates and university freshmen.
My approach relies on stripping away the noise to find the core economic logic. I teach with rigor and precision.
