About Abi
As a student of ancient and medieval history at the University of Edinburgh, I have a deep passion for the subject. I have taken part in many activities related to history, such as being a tour guide in castles and museums. I have also gained extensive experience in helping others understand the subject and I would love to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with others. I am friendly, kind, and patient and would be delighted to help you fall in love with history as I have.

As an experienced and qualified tutor, I approach every lesson with a friendly and supportive attitude. My teaching style is tailored to the specific needs of each student, and I always aim to make sure that the lesson is engaging and productive. I believe that discussion-based learning is the best way to equip my students with the skills and knowledge that they need to succeed. My lessons typically last for 1 hour, and I have extensive experience as a personal tutor for schools, as well as being part of the national tuition programme. My lessons are designed to cater for secondary history students of all levels, from KS3, GCSE, and A Level.

If you're up for the free first class, please note that no teaching will take place. This should be treated more of an informal meeting in which you can meet me, and ask any questions you have about my style of teaching.
