About Kevin
I am a Roman historian and have taught in the Classics department at Baylor University (2013-2018) and history courses for Texas Tech University, Waco (2019-2020). I have taught introductory and intermediate Greek and Latin, as well as independent studies in editing texts preserved on ancient papyrus. My interests also include prehistory, Ancient Near Eastern / Egyptology, Greco-Roman history, as well as modern English, American, and educational history.

I teach language courses 3 days/wk., one hour per meeting. Exercises and lessons have been based on Wheelock's Latin and C. Shelmerdine's Introduction to Greek. History courses are a combination of lectures with slides, primary source readings and discussions, and assignments include daily quizzes to essays in textual analysis and synthetic argument.
