About Rachel
I myself have gone through my classes dozing off and not taking notes most of the time because I never connected with the teacher nor their method which is why I want to incorporate something different myself in the classrooms. I know lectures get boring and you doze off and that should never be the case for a student. You want to feel you're getting your money's worth. I want to build a space for creative minds, thinking outside the box, learning whilst having fun and so much more. Because learning should never only be about staring blankly at a screen or a whiteboard, it should be about asking questions, voicing your opinions, raising your hand to stand up for your beliefs because a classroom is room for growth. Education is not supposed to be only 4 walls, it's what's outside of those 4 walls.

I always like to start off with the basics, take things step by step. I like to cover all points and explain them as patiently and importantly as possible. I want to spread my own knowledge as much as I can, to change the monotonous teaching patterns and make things fun, interactive, and informative. I have always found teaching to be more story-like than just the normal routine; teach and repeat. I like to give examples and real-life settings. I have taught students before and the feedback has never been negative, I strongly believe that both parties should leave feeling satisfied because it's a mutual process. We are all learning from each other.
