About Sophia
I'm a third year Neuroscience student at the University of Nottingham, looking to graduate with First Class Honours. I attended a top private school and so have first hand experience of sitting 11+ exams, and understand the tutoring that goes behind being success at these. I've helped a handful of students to get into their desired schools.
The best tuition that anyone can get is a clear explanation and breakdown of the topic at hand. I believe it's important to ensure the basics are understood fully before moving ahead with content. A calm, clear and detailed (when necessary) teaching style is what's offered here, with recall of previous topics covered also included.
I've had my fair share of unenthusiastic and confusing teachers with thin patiences, and so I understand the importance of finding the right student-teacher fit!
(I achieved A*s and As at GCSEs in the subjects I tutor in (maths, biology, chemistry, English Language and English literature, religious studies), and at A-level I took Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Religious Studies and General Studies.)
