About Samuel
I have two years of experience as a volunteer in a high-school tutoring programme, mainly consisting of individual lessons in mathematics, chemistry and biology. Extraordinary academic results led me to compete in Biological and Chemistry Olympiads at national level (Slovakia), placing 2nd and 5th respectively, and thus qualifying for International Biology Olympiad 2019.
IB Diploma Programme graduate (2019), obtained exceptional 43/45 points (A level equivalent of A*A*A):
HL: Biology 7, Chemistry 7, English B 6
SL: Mathematics 7, Economics 7, Slovak A: Literature 7

I believe that the full potential of any student can be uncovered only by a personalized individual approach. Instead of lecturing on theory, my main goal is to help a student create a logical framework of facts in the context of multiple science disciplines. Doing is the best way of learning, therefore I prefer to structure my lessons around actual problems and past exam questions. Every time I try to guide the student to approach the task step by step on his own, rather than just showing the correct answers right away.
