About Brendan

I am a graduate of the University of St Andrews, who studied molecular biology after cultivating a fascination with the biological world and its implications in studying, altering, and treating the systems critical to life not only in human and mammalian life, but across the phyla. After completing my recent undergraduate course, I have begun exploring the industry of biological science - particularly in regards to immunological study and application of our understanding to fields such as manufacturing, product development, research and quality assurance of service provision. I returned to the university for further education for a masters by research project that has produced results currently under review for publication with my supervisor. I intend to go on to a PhD in the field of immunology as to better underpin my career moving forward.

I offer exceptional tutoring for potential clients with sharp focus, attention to detail, and a vivid depth of understanding of not only the educational material but also its context within both the course and wider field application. I have tutored informally at undergraduate level, and wish to take the lessons I have learned assisting peers throughout my degree and apply it within a more professional setting to the benefit of clients at reasonable market prices. My lesson plans will include:

- structured lessons plans in adherence with the most up-to-date specification of the requested exam board.

- personalised learning objectives for each pupil on request, to better address areas of difficulty.

- produced materials and visual aids aimed toward better illustrating key points of subject matters; influenced in their creation by teaching I received as a student in St Andrews.

- availability for informal inquiries related to taught content outside of scheduled tutoring for regular clients (3+ lessons with further regular scheduling planned).

- Per student reports describing lesson performance, student progress and confidence, topics covered and suggested approaches to areas of concern regarding improvement on request, covering periods of tutoring defined by the client.
