About Paul
I am currently completing a PhD in Philosophy at St Andrews University. I completed an MA in Philosophy at Durham University (Distinction) and a BA in History at the University of Birmingham (First Class Hons). I have three years of experience teaching and mentoring high school students. I currently teach OCR A Level Religious Studies and Eduquas GCSE Religious Studies.

I am deeply passionate about philosophy and religious studies and can teach all areas of AQA A Level Philosophy, OCR Religious Studies A Level and Eduqas Religious Studies GCSE. Every student learns in different ways and has different strengths. Through no fault of their own, schools can't always accommodate for this. Students therefore often have to move on to a new topic before they have truly understood it. I strive to gauge each student's individual learning style and needs and adapt accordingly. I aim to ensure that a student truly understands any given area before moving to the next.
I am also happy to tutor philosophy undergraduate students who need help with any area in ethics or with essay writing.
