About Cali
I am an Animation student at BYU, which is a unique degree because it combines an artistic eye, as well as coding and computer knowledge! I love both science and the arts, and with a 3.97 GPA, I have a lot of experience in getting things done for school. Also, I am totally a movie person! You'll have to tell me your favorites! I am a tutor that wants to get to know you, and make learning as painless as possible! I love meeting new people, and am passionate about helping you understand your coursework and do well in your classes.

I tutor primarily high school students, but also middle school and elementary school students! I am a friendly and excited tutor, that wants to get to know the learner as a person and will push them so that they can achieve their goals! I have no problem connecting with high school kids, and in fact love to work with them.
My typical approach:
- checking out what the teacher has assigned, assessing with the student how confident they feel doing the assignments on their own.
- helping the student do as much as they possibly can on their own
- working together with the student to complete the assignments, as well as bringing extra material to the tutoring session that might be helpful. I will look up resources and videos that can explain things differently, or help the student create study helps (like quizlets or flashcards) that they can use in the future.
Example classes I can tutor, all of which I have taken:
English: Honors (all grades), AP Language and Composition
Science: Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics
Math: Algebra, all Honors math (up to 10th grade)
History: AP US History, AP European History, AP Human Geography
Other: AP Psychology, Piano, Spanish, AP Art
