About Mahalakshmi Liv

I have broad experience in both academic knowledge production and applied anthropology – in both public and private sectors. I work with one foot in the scientific genre and the other in applied anthropology. This means my professional focus lies both on academic knowledge, as presented in anthropological literature, and on how anthropology can be applied in practice.

Additionally, I combine anthropology with my enthusiasm for guiding, supporting, and sparring with others. I am a good listener and have a sharp eye for seeing others’ dilemmas and situations from an outside perspective, with fresh eyes. Therefore, I offer a collaboration where we focus on your interests and areas for development – whether you want to learn more about or dive deeper into specific topics.

With a bachelor's and a master's degree in anthropology from the University of Copenhagen, I offer in-depth teaching in anthropological theory and methods.
