About Nathan
I'm a postgraduate medical student at the Australian National University, with a Bachelor of Biomedicine from the University of Melbourne (majoring in Human Structure and Function). Science has always fascinated me, and I love finding new ways to make it click for other people.
I finished VCE in 2020 with an ATAR of 97.00, and have been tutoring ever since — first at my high school, then privately. I tutor Maths (Methods and Specialist) and Science (Biology and Chemistry).
I'm passionate about breaking down difficult concepts and get a real kick out of watching my students improve. I also just enjoy nerding out about pretty much any topic, so lessons never feel dry.

My goal is to help students understand material on a deeper level; I find this approach delivers the best results and builds real confidence, even with the most challenging questions.
Before your first lesson, let me know what you're hoping to get out of tutoring, and I'll prepare tailored material to suit. Success doesn't come overnight, so the work you put in outside of lessons matters just as much as our time together. I can help with this by setting SMART goals and building a study schedule to make your study time more efficient.
If you're still in high school, I'll coordinate closely with you and a parent/guardian to make sure I'm catering to your learning style and that you're consistently improving.
Feel free to bring along homework or specific questions, and we can work through them together. And if weekly sessions aren't what you need, that's no problem — I'm happy to work more casually around whatever suits your goals best.

The best tutor I have genuinely had. Was able to explain things to great depth and my grades increase from a D to a B in a little over a month (I put this all down to Nathan) Also really flexible time wise and super easy to work with highly recommend giving him a go if in need of a tutor
