About Sam
I am a Stanford graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Performance Studies and a minor in Music. I studied voice under Kathryne Jennings, a critically acclaimed soprano who has performed in opera, oratorio, and recital throughout the United States. I sang a lot in college as a member and soprano section leader of Talisman a Cappella and a performer in musicals such as Dave Malloy's Ghost Quartet. I love singing and I truly believe anyone can learn to sing!

A typical first lesson would involve:
- gauging your range
- talking about repertoire
- learning warmups
In subsequent lessons, we'll start by warming up, then get into singing your repertoire! I'll probably have you sing through the song once, give feedback on technique, and then sing through again, stopping along the way to provide more guidance.
