In a fast-paced technology world, you might feel left behind. I understand. While working for a popular technology company, I taught Apple computers to over 300 students and provided daily lessons in a one-on-one setting, tailoring each lesson to each individual's needs.

If so, you’re not alone. It’s easy to feel left behind with the speed of technology. Sadly, there aren’t many options. In group classes, it isn’t easy to keep up with the teacher’s pace. And if you’ve ever gotten help from your friends, kids, or grandkids, you know they can sometimes be too impatient to teach you properly. Hi, my name is Chris, and I’m a patient and friendly computer tutor that’s taught over 300 senior citizens one on one how to master their technology. So how do the lessons work? Lessons can take place in person (in the comfort of your home or my home if you prefer) with clear and simple explanations. The choice is yours. And don’t worry, there’s no techno mumbo jumbo! I speak your language. You can even take notes so you can repeat the steps and practice on your own. I’ve only ever bothered to learn the bare minimum of computer usage to get by, but technology is always changing and software is always releasing new clever (and confusing) updates. I’ve always turned to Chris for learning new computer skills, like sending Microsoft documents to my Mac, setting up phone banking, app security, photo editing, new graphics programs that can help me tweak my art, and general phone or computer trouble shooting. He’ll even throw in a few nifty shortcuts or app recommendations - he has all the tricks up his sleeve.
Chris is an excellent teacher. He’s very patient, and very hands off. He teaches by guiding me through my own learning process, and reminds me to use my own instincts to find the most user-friendly ways of navigating these baffling programs. I’ve tried to learn from many other teachers that just make me feel nervous or rushed or stupid, and then I’ve forgotten most of what they taught me; but not with Chris. He makes me feel confident with my computer and phone usage, and I find myself able to start using new software on my own, straight away.
