About Nife

I’m an Early Careers Mentor with a background in law, events and graduate recruitment, and I’m passionate about helping students and recent graduates navigate the early stages of their careers.

I graduated with an LLB in Law from the University of Leicester and, throughout university, gained first-hand experience of the competitive application process. I secured several legal first-year opportunities and a vacation scheme, giving me valuable insight into how to approach applications, interviews and assessment centres.

After graduating, I immediately secured a graduate role at one of the world’s largest and most recognised news organisations. I completed their graduate programme before moving into the events and conference industry, successfully making a transition from law into a completely different career path.

This experience has given me a broad understanding of the early-career recruitment process — not only from applying for opportunities as a student, but also from navigating the transition from university into the workplace and figuring out what career path is right for you.

I now use my experience to help students and graduates with CVs, applications, interviews and career strategy. Whether you’re applying for your first internship, a vacation scheme, a graduate scheme or your first job after university, I’m here to help you approach the process with greater confidence and clarity.

My approach is practical, honest and tailored to you. I want you to leave each session not only with a stronger application, but with the skills and confidence to tackle the next one yourself.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to give students and recent graduates practical, personalised support when applying for internships, vacation schemes, graduate schemes and entry-level roles.

I know how overwhelming the recruitment process can be — from figuring out what to apply for, to writing strong application answers, preparing for assessment centres and feeling confident in interviews. Having personally navigated these processes, including securing legal first-year schemes and a vacation scheme, I understand what it takes to make a strong application.

Depending on what you need, our sessions can focus on:

• CV Reviews – reviewing your CV and identifying ways to better showcase your skills, experience and achievements.

• Application Reviews – working through your application questions together and helping you develop clear, compelling answers while keeping your responses authentic to you.

• Mock Interviews – practising competency, strengths-based and motivational questions in a realistic interview setting, followed by personalised feedback.

• Graduate Application Strategy – helping you identify suitable opportunities, understand the recruitment process and create a clear strategy for your applications.

My approach is supportive, honest and practical. I won’t just tell you what to change — I’ll explain why, so you can develop the skills and confidence to approach future applications independently.

Whether you’re applying for your first internship or preparing for a graduate role, my aim is to help you feel more confident, prepared and ready to put your best foot forward.
