About Anika
I am a CSE and Applied Computing graduate with a strong passion for teaching mathematics. I began teaching math during my high school years, supporting students of my own age, and used my earnings to fund my bachelor’s education and later contribute toward my master’s studies in Canada.
Currently, I work as a Learning Coach at a college, where I support students through structured guidance and personalized learning strategies. Mathematics is my core strength, and I focus on helping students understand concepts clearly rather than memorizing formulas.
Patience is my greatest strength as an educator. I believe every student learns at a different pace, and I take the time to ensure confidence, clarity, and long-term understanding in every lesson.

teach Algebra by building strong foundational concepts and then gradually moving to more advanced problems. I explain formulas step by step and use simple examples so students clearly understand the logic behind each solution.
In Geometry, I focus on visual learning. I use clear diagrams and logical explanations to help students understand shapes, theorems, and formulas. My goal is to help students see how concepts connect rather than memorizing rules.
For Trigonometry, I begin with basic angle concepts and gradually introduce formulas and identities. I simplify complex problems using easy methods and shortcuts, helping students gain confidence and improve problem-solving speed.
When teaching Calculus, I start from the basics and explain concepts in a simple, structured way. I relate problems to graphs and real-life situations, ensuring students understand both the method and the application.
My teaching approach is student-friendly and exam-focused. I encourage questions, provide regular practice, and ensure every student understands the topic before moving forward.
