About Winter
Game analysis and competitive mindset training form the core of my coaching method. I teach endgame technique alongside defensive technique to ensure a complete understanding of the board.
It is simple work. After 13 years of instruction and guiding 207 students, I have learned that middlegame planning is where most players lose their way. Opening repertoire building is essential, but I prefer to focus on how you think during the heat of a match. I hope to help you play better chess soon.

Chess should be fun. The game moves fast. My 13 years of experience in competitive mathematics inform how I break down complex board states for my students. We use logic to evaluate every move on the board.
