About Mica
I'm Mica, and I am currently studying Applied Physics at the University of California Santa Cruz. My goal is to build confidence within my students, and either get them back on track to understanding more advanced concepts or help them maintain proficiency in class. I want them to be comfortable with asking for help, and be able to make connections between their lessons and other subjects through well-developed understanding.

I am open to teach age groups ranging from elementary school to high school. As someone who used to struggle with math, I understand how confusing concepts can be without context. This is why I connect math concepts with real-world situations and concepts from other subjects in order to help students make sense of hard-to-grasp material.
