About Tucker
I am a senior in high school living in Maine. I have experience with essay writing, creative writing, history, exam taking, and more. I am a member of the National Honor Society, and president of my school's philosophy club, as well as leadership in my school's Model UN club. In my free time I like to read, hike and do theater.

I use one-on-one personalized techniques in my tutoring, helping students assess their weaknesses and understand how to fix them. I use practice tests, direct instruction, and discussion to help students best utilize their skills. Being a high schooler means that I can connect with students easier, and understand where they come from. I help students prepare for AP exams by letting them know how they can best prepare. My tutoring is aimed at students taking AP United States History and AP Language and Composition, but I can also teach general social studies and history. I can teach from as young as elementary school to as old as high school. I can help students of all ages write direct and sophisticated essays.
