About Shahma

I’m an Arabic language educator and Subject Matter Expert, currently working on Arabic curriculum and content development for English-speaking learners. I hold two Bachelor’s degrees—one in Arabic Language and Literature and another in Islamic Sharee‘a—and a B.Ed. in Arabic. I have hands-on classroom experience teaching Arabic in a CBSE school, which gave me a strong understanding of structured syllabi, lesson pacing, and diverse learner needs. As part of my B.Ed. program, I also completed a teaching internship where I planned lessons, conducted classroom sessions, and supported student assessments under academic supervision. In addition, I’ve worked with online learning platforms such as Fiqh Academy and Aalim Learning App, teaching one-on-one classes to school students, college learners, and adult learners. This blend of classroom teaching, internship training, and online education has shaped my structured and learner-centric teaching style. My approach focuses on building a strong foundation in Arabic—grammar, vocabulary, and sentence formation—while helping learners gradually move towards confident usage and basic Quranic understanding. I adapt lessons according to individual goals, whether for academic success, Quran studies, or general language development. I teach in Arabic, English, and Malayalam, depending on the learner’s comfort. My aim is to make Arabic clear, practical, and enjoyable, while supporting learners with patience, clarity, and consistent guidance

About the lesson

From a passionate student of Arabic and Islamic Sharee’a to a qualified teacher with two Bachelor’s degrees and B.Ed. training, I offer lessons that combine deep knowledge with engaging teaching methods.
My sessions cover a wide range:
• Arabic for school students (primary–high school)
• Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) for beginners and intermediates
• Quran reading and Tajweed
• Islamic Studies and moral education
