About Bethany
I am a First-Class graduate of BA Arabic and Spanish with B2 advanced proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and basic knowledge of the Moroccan and Yemeni dialects. I am currently studying a master’s degree in International Development and have a keen interest in socio-political issues and current affairs!
I am passionate about travelling and exploring new countries, having spent time living in Morocco and studying at the Arabic Language Institute in Fez where I received a distinction. I have a high knowledge of Islam, the Middle East, and Arabic culture which will enhance your overall understanding of the Arabic language.
As a former languages student myself, I understand the difficulties of learning a language from scratch. However I aim to make this process as easy and enjoyable as possible for you!

I offer beginner to intermediate-level lessons in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA / Fusha) for non-native speakers.
For beginners, I will teach you how to read and write in Arabic, how to introduce yourself, and basic vocabulary. For intermediate students, I will tailor each lesson to your needs and interests. My lessons encompass reading, writing, listening, speaking, and grammar, using fun and engaging materials such as games and music.
My lessons are suitable for students of GCSE Arabic. I am happy to go through past papers with you, mark your work, help with assignments and homework, and improve pronunciation.
