About Maisy
I am a first class honours graduate from the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture, currently working at an industry leading multinational engineering and design firm as an Architectural Assistant.
I have over 2 years of experience as a university admissions tutor, and have taught lessons in a diverse range of subjects including visual arts, architecture, English, and math.
I'm also passionate about community engagement, and have delivered weekly free English classes to marginalized students, including children from orphanages, low socio-economic backgrounds, or with disabilities. Additionally, I provided English lessons for Chinese security guards, cafeteria workers, and other non-English speaking staff at school to reduce language barriers between staff and students. Within UCL, I worked as a transition mentor to provide incoming students presentation, working methods, design skills, while acting as an academic representative, advocating for student needs and mentorship.
