About Lucas
I am a masters student at University College London currently studying Bio-Integrated Design, since graduating architecture with first class honours from Plymouth University in 2021, I have worked for two architecture firms in South West England, involved in projects with a huge range of clients, budgets, and scales. I can offer first hand experience and what to know when entering or considering architectural practice for the first time.
I want to teach and encourage new and aspiring architecture students to develop their unique approach to architecture, and develop a strong personal ethos that will allow them to stand out and make powerful positive contributions to field throughout their career, wherever that may take them. This will vary for every person, and may take form of portfolio reviews, design and software tutorials, assistance with academic texts and understanding project briefs, or simply conversations, discussions and Q&As.
Every student needs a personal and unique approach to learning to help them find their individual direction and potential.

Architecture is an incredibly difficult word to define and encompasses a huge range of disciplines, theories and practices.
If you are an aspiring architecture student, the most important thing to develop in your early career is what architecture means to you - allowing your personality, ethos, and approach to evolve and shine through in your work will allow you to find your path through this dynamic and transformative field.
Through digital sessions, I offer portfolio workshops, discussions and advice for aspiring architecture students (or current students) to assist with developing personal design methodologies, help with interview prep and practice interview sessions, and assistance with architectural theory and academic language.
