About Pooja
My interest in architecture began with a B.Arch in Design and progressed through an M.Arch in Urban Planning, where I explored how thoughtful spaces influence human behavior and the environment. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided students in building technical skills, conceptual clarity, and creative expression. My teaching emphasizes structured mentorship, interactive exercises, and real-world application to ensure learners gain both competence and confidence. I tailor lessons to individual needs, incorporating sketching, modeling, digital tools, and design critique. Encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and reflective practice is central to my philosophy. Patience, constructive feedback, and goal-oriented guidance allow learners to develop steadily while building a confident design voice. Outside teaching, I remain engaged in architectural research, sustainable design studies, and urban planning projects. Bringing these insights into lessons enriches learning and inspiration. Teaching architecture is profoundly rewarding because I witness students develop creative expression, analytical skills, and the ability to approach design challenges with both imagination and practicality.

Beginners focus on foundational skills such as sketching, proportion, perspective, and design theory. Intermediate learners explore model-making, structural planning, sustainable design, and spatial visualization. Advanced learners engage in portfolio development, project presentation, design research, and integrated urban planning concepts. Lessons combine conceptual explanation, practical application, and iterative feedback to foster deep understanding and creative competence.
