About Zaya
My fascination with architecture began with a curiosity about how built spaces shape human experiences and influence behaviour. This led me to pursue a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Landscape Architecture, where I honed my expertise in design principles, environmental planning, and technical execution. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students develop both creative vision and practical skill, supporting them at every stage of learning.
I prioritise patience, encouragement, and hands-on engagement in my teaching. Lessons are structured to help learners translate ideas into tangible designs while understanding core technical and conceptual principles. I encourage critical thinking, exploration, and iterative improvement in every project.
Beyond the classroom, I remain active in architectural research, sustainable design studies, and contemporary project analysis. Watching students evolve from initial concepts to confident, expressive designs is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners in becoming skilled, imaginative, and confident designers remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my career.

Architecture lessons are designed to foster creativity, technical expertise, and critical thinking. I cover principles of spatial reasoning, sustainable design, material selection, construction techniques, and presentation skills. Lessons emphasise how abstract ideas can be transformed into functional, visually appealing spaces while encouraging students to balance creativity, aesthetic sensibility, and practical considerations. Activities include sketching, model-making, case studies, and design critiques to deepen understanding and build confidence.
I tailor lessons to each learner’s experience. Beginners focus on foundational drawing skills, perspective, and visual communication to establish confidence. Intermediate learners explore 3D modelling, structural logic, and sustainability, while advanced students refine portfolio development, presentation, and professional-level project execution. Each session integrates structured guidance, feedback, and collaborative problem-solving exercises to strengthen creativity, precision, and analytical thinking.
Architecture lessons also enhance observation, spatial awareness, and decision-making skills. Students learn to assess design choices, develop a personal design style, and communicate ideas clearly. My goal is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where learners can grow creatively and technically while developing confidence in their design vision.
