About Caleb
My passion for architecture began with a fascination for how spaces influence human behaviour, emotion, and interaction. This interest led me to complete a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Architectural Design, where I explored both creative and technical dimensions of the field. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students through the design process, helping them develop clarity, confidence, and originality in their work. I teach with patience, openness, and adaptability, ensuring students feel supported throughout their creative journey. I focus on helping learners understand design logic, refine their visual communication, and express ideas with intention. Many students arrive unsure of their abilities, but through structured guidance and encouragement, they develop confidence in their creative voice and problem-solving skills. Beyond teaching, I stay connected to architecture through design research, sketching, sustainability studies, and project analysis. These experiences allow me to bring practical insight into lessons and inspire students with real-world perspectives. Teaching architecture is deeply rewarding because I witness students discover their creative strengths and learn to trust their design instincts.

Architecture becomes inspiring when students understand how ideas evolve into meaningful, functional spaces. In my lessons, I introduce learners to design principles, spatial reasoning, conceptual sketching, material awareness, and visual communication. I emphasise a balanced approach where creativity is supported by structure, logic, and thoughtful exploration, helping students develop confidence in their design process. Lessons are tailored to different experience levels. Beginners focus on sketching fundamentals, proportion, spatial visualisation, and basic composition. Intermediate learners develop design concepts, model-making skills, and presentation techniques. Advanced learners refine project organisation, architectural narratives, portfolio development, and design critique skills. Each session combines discussion, hands-on exercises, and feedback to support steady creative growth. Architecture lessons also help students develop observation, creativity, and critical thinking. Learners gain the ability to express ideas visually and approach design challenges with confidence and discipline. My goal is to help students build a strong creative identity while developing professional design habits that support long-term success.
