About Averie
My interest in architecture began with a fascination for how environments shape human experience. This led me to complete a B.Arch in Urban and Architectural Design, where I developed strong skills in spatial reasoning, conceptual planning, and visual storytelling. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students navigate creative challenges with patience and clarity.
I approach architecture teaching with openness and encouragement. I believe creativity thrives when students feel supported rather than pressured. My lessons focus on helping learners understand design logic, refine ideas, and communicate visually with confidence. I adapt my guidance to suit each student’s pace and goals.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architecture through design research, sketching, and studying contemporary projects. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I witness students discover their creative potential. Supporting their growth and confidence is deeply meaningful to me.

Architecture lessons focus on helping students understand how ideas become meaningful, functional spaces. I emphasise spatial awareness, proportion, form development, and design reasoning, guiding learners through the relationship between creativity and structure. Concepts are introduced gradually, allowing students to explore ideas freely while learning how professional architects organise and refine their designs. Lessons encourage curiosity, observation, and thoughtful experimentation.
As students advance, lessons expand into conceptual sketching, spatial planning, material understanding, and design communication. I guide learners through organising design ideas into coherent layouts, explaining how form, function, and human experience interact. Visual references, step-by-step design breakdowns, and reflective feedback help students gain clarity and confidence. Each lesson balances creative freedom with structured guidance.
Architecture lessons also support emotional and creative growth. Students learn to express ideas visually, think critically about space, and develop confidence in their creative voice. Many learners become more observant and imaginative through this process. My goal is to help students build a strong design foundation while discovering their individual architectural identity.
