About Cole
I hold a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Urban Design, through which I cultivated a deep understanding of spatial composition, sustainability, and design principles. Over 8 years of teaching, I have mentored learners in developing creative expression, technical skill, and architectural reasoning, emphasizing clarity, exploration, and practical application. My approach integrates hands-on exercises, real-life design analysis, and conceptual discussions to support each learner’s growth. Encouraging problem-solving, critical thinking, and independent exploration is central to my teaching philosophy, fostering steady skill development and creative confidence. Beyond teaching, I engage with urban planning studies, sustainable design research, and professional architecture projects. Bringing these insights into lessons enriches content and relevance. Architecture is a dynamic combination of creativity and technical skill. I guide students through spatial design, visual composition, material knowledge, model-making, and conceptual planning. Lessons include drawing exercises, 3D modeling, and case studies of iconic structures, fostering both analytical and imaginative thinking. Each session emphasizes structured exploration, design clarity, and creative confidence, encouraging students to articulate and refine their ideas while appreciating the impact of architecture on human experiences.
Beginners focus on foundational skills like sketching, proportion, and simple design concepts, developing confidence in expressing ideas visually. Intermediate learners tackle advanced modeling, functional planning, environmental considerations, and site analysis, improving analytical and practical capabilities. Advanced learners explore complex projects, urban planning, presentation skills, portfolio development, and design philosophy, combining creativity with structured technical mastery. Lessons integrate guided practice, critique, and real-world applications.
Studying architecture strengthens spatial reasoning, problem-solving, and visual communication. Students gain confidence in conceptualizing, designing, and presenting ideas. My goal is to nurture creativity, precision, and analytical thinking, enabling learners to approach architecture thoughtfully, expressively, and effectively.
