About Miles
My passion for architecture began with observing how spaces influence emotion and behavior. I completed a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban Design, gaining experience in spatial planning and sustainable design thinking. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided students in developing clarity, creativity, and confidence in their work. I teach with patience and openness, encouraging exploration while providing clear structure. Lessons focus on helping students articulate ideas visually and conceptually. I adapt methods to each learner’s strengths and goals, ensuring steady progress. Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with architectural studies, design analysis, and urban research. These experiences enrich my lessons. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I witness students discover their creative identity and learn to express ideas with purpose and confidence.

Architecture becomes meaningful when students understand how ideas transform into functional and expressive spaces. My lessons focus on design principles, spatial organization, form development, and visual communication through calm, structured guidance. I help learners balance creativity with technical reasoning, showing how architecture connects human needs, environment, and aesthetics. Each lesson encourages thoughtful exploration and confident expression.
Lessons are tailored to experience level. Beginners work on basic sketching, proportion, and conceptual thinking. Intermediate learners develop spatial reasoning, model planning, material awareness, and design refinement. Advanced students focus on portfolio development, project presentation, design narratives, and professional critique methods. Continuous feedback supports steady improvement and creative growth.
Architecture lessons help students grow in creativity, observation, and confidence. Learners become more attentive to space, structure, and human interaction. My goal is to help students develop a strong design voice while building disciplined thinking that supports long-term architectural growth.
