About Caleb
My fascination with architecture began with the realization that thoughtful design shapes human experiences and environments. I pursued a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban Design, learning to merge aesthetic creativity with functional problem-solving. Over 9 years, I have guided students in understanding design principles, spatial analysis, and effective visual communication, fostering both technical skill and artistic expression.
I prioritize patience, clarity, and personalized guidance in teaching. Lessons combine conceptual discussions, sketching, model-building, and design critique, helping students internalize principles while developing their creative voice. I encourage exploration, problem-solving, and iterative refinement to build both competence and confidence.
Beyond teaching, I stay connected to urban planning trends, sustainable design innovations, and architectural research, integrating these insights into lessons. Witnessing students grow in creativity, technical ability, and confidence is profoundly rewarding. My goal is to empower learners to express ideas clearly, design thoughtfully, and embrace innovation in every project they undertake.

Architecture is most rewarding when students grasp how creativity and function converge to shape meaningful spaces. My lessons cover spatial reasoning, conceptual design, sustainable architecture, material understanding, and visual storytelling. I emphasize learning by doing, encouraging students to explore various approaches, iterate ideas, and integrate aesthetics with practical application. Each lesson balances technical knowledge with creative exploration, fostering both conceptual depth and expressive clarity.
Lesson plans are customized to skill levels. Beginners start with basic sketching, proportion exercises, and simple composition tasks to understand spatial relationships. Intermediate learners focus on model-building, design iteration, material selection, and presentation skills to enhance analytical and creative capacities. Advanced learners tackle comprehensive design challenges, portfolio preparation, complex spatial analysis, and client-inspired projects, combining technical proficiency with innovative problem-solving. Each session includes hands-on exercises, discussions, and iterative feedback to reinforce learning and nurture creative confidence.
