About Lily
My passion for architecture began with fascination for how spaces influence emotion, behavior, and community life. I was always drawn to buildings that felt meaningful, thoughtful, and alive with purpose. This led me to complete a B.Arch in Environmental Architecture and later an M.Des in Urban Design Innovation, where I studied both creative design principles and sustainable planning for future cities. Over the past 8 years, I have supported students in discovering their architectural identity through structured teaching and encouraging mentorship.
I believe architecture students thrive when they feel safe to explore creativity while developing strong design discipline. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and helping learners understand the deeper logic behind architectural decisions. I guide students step by step in improving sketching, concept development, spatial reasoning, and presentation confidence.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with architecture through sustainable design research, urban studies, concept sketching, and exploring innovative global projects. Teaching architecture is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners transform into confident designers who can express powerful ideas through space, form, and thoughtful creativity.

Architecture becomes truly exciting when students realize it is not only about drawing buildings, but about shaping how people live, move, feel, and connect within spaces. In my lessons, I guide learners through the foundations of design thinking, spatial awareness, form development, and architectural creativity in a calm and supportive environment. I help students understand how architecture blends imagination with structure, balancing beauty, function, and human experience. Through sketches, visual examples, and conceptual discussions, students learn to see architecture as both an art and a disciplined process of problem-solving.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s current level and creative goals. Beginners explore basic drawing skills, proportion, perspective, and early design concepts through gentle step-by-step guidance. Intermediate learners develop stronger understanding of materials, site planning, model-making, and architectural composition. Advanced students focus on portfolio refinement, sustainable design strategies, presentation techniques, and developing a clear architectural narrative that expresses originality. Continuous feedback and structured improvement help learners gain confidence in both creativity and technical clarity.
Architecture lessons also encourage students to grow personally as thinkers and creators. Many learners become more observant of the built world, more imaginative in their ideas, and more confident in expressing design choices. My goal is to help students build lasting creative discipline and a strong architectural voice.
