About Rachel
I completed a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban Design, which strengthened my understanding of spatial planning and design thinking. Over 8 years of teaching, I have guided students through creative challenges with patience and structured support. This experience has helped me mentor learners with different artistic strengths. My teaching philosophy centres on clarity, encouragement, and exploration. I help students break down complex design problems into manageable steps while nurturing creative confidence. Each student receives personalised guidance. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with architecture through design research, sketching, and urban studies. These experiences enrich my lessons. Teaching architecture is rewarding because I witness students grow into confident, expressive designers with a clear creative identity.

Architecture lessons help students understand how ideas become functional and expressive spaces. I guide learners through design principles, spatial organisation, visual representation, and conceptual development using structured and encouraging instruction. Lessons focus on balancing creativity with technical clarity, helping students express ideas confidently. Beginners learn basic sketching, proportions, and spatial awareness. Intermediate learners develop design logic, material understanding, and presentation skills. Advanced students focus on project development, portfolio structure, and architectural storytelling. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level and creative goals. Architecture lessons also nurture observation, imagination, and confidence. Students learn to express ideas visually and think critically about space. My goal is to help learners develop a strong design voice and disciplined creative process.
