About Mercy
My passion for architecture began with fascination for how spaces affect human behavior, emotion, and daily life. This led me to pursue a B.Arch in Architectural Design followed by an M.Arch in Environmental Urban Planning, where I explored both artistic creativity and sustainable responsibility. Over the past 9 years, I have supported students in transforming uncertainty into confident architectural expression.
I teach with patience, openness, and adaptability. My approach focuses on helping learners understand design logic, communicate visually, and develop their own architectural voice. I guide students step by step so they feel supported as they grow creatively and technically.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architecture through sustainability studies, concept sketching, urban design exploration, and analyzing inspiring global projects. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I see students discover their creative strengths and learn to express meaningful ideas through thoughtful design.

Architecture becomes inspiring when students understand it is the art of shaping spaces that influence how people live, feel, and interact with the world. My lessons focus on design thinking, spatial reasoning, architectural drawing, form development, material understanding, and creative communication. I guide learners in balancing imagination with structure, helping them express ideas clearly while building the discipline needed for strong architectural work.
Lessons are carefully adapted to the student’s level. Beginners learn foundational skills such as sketching, proportion, perspective, and basic design composition with supportive guidance. Intermediate learners strengthen technical drawing, model-making, spatial planning, and project refinement techniques. Advanced students focus on portfolio development, architectural narratives, sustainability awareness, presentation skills, and preparing for university studio expectations. Each session includes detailed feedback, encouragement, and structured steps that support creative confidence.
Architecture lessons also help students grow personally. Learners develop observation, imagination, and stronger confidence in communicating ideas visually. Many students discover a deeper appreciation for how design shapes communities and human experience. My goal is to help learners build both creative identity and professional-level skills for long-term success in architecture.
