About Mia and Lex

We are Sixth Form students who enjoy teaching singing to people around us. Lex is a music and drama student who has worked often with the English National Opera and has performed on the London Coliseum stage frequently. They have a passion for music as they have worked with their skills since they were a young child. They work well with all ages and have been helping to teach younger students for a while. Mia is a student who has been singing for many years. She never entirely saw music as a career path, but found it to be a healthy way of expressing herself. Music is art and there is no wrong way to approach it. We would love to be able to teach you how to develop your voice properly and safely, and would be honoured to be able to help develop your skills and talents.

About the lesson

When teaching our students, we will work as a team. Rather than having just one person, we have two insights into the musical field. This means that we can work together to come up with the best solution for our students, with one of us handling more practical work and the other with a little more feedback. We will, of course, take into consideration our students wishes and songs that they wish to focus on. Our methods will differentiate per student as each student has different interests and things that they will wish to work on, however, we will respect their decisions and give our own suggestions also.
