About Elizabeth
You will develop a consistent practice routine that builds your technique from the ground up. We start by identifying exactly where your playing needs the most attention. I guide you through scales, modes, and blues progressions using clear tab reading techniques. We also break down lead guitar lines to ensure your soloing sounds professional.
Every month, you receive a recorded review of your progress to track your growth. This ensures that you can visualize exactly how far you have come.
I find that structure is the key to enjoying the instrument long term. My experience gigging for 15 years influences how I teach stage presence. I look forward to hearing you play your first full song with confidence. We should start working on your rhythm guitar skills in our next session.

I have spent 14 years gigging across Tex-Mex and Latin pop circuits. It is quite common for self-taught players to hit a plateau after a few years.
I enjoy helping hobbyists and grade exam candidates move past those barriers. My background as a self-taught musician means I have been in your shoes before.
I focus on electric technique, acoustic technique, and complex fingerpicking. You can expect me to emphasize songwriting and improvisation during our time together.
I have worked with 366 students to help them find their flow on the fretboard. Teaching is a rhythmic process that requires patience and clear direction. I am a native Spanish speaker who treats music as a second language. Let us get your fingers moving and your music sounding great.
