About Ruth
I have some years of experience as a teacher French and Portuguese and I can assure you that my experience is good. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults.

My teaching method is variable and depends essentially on the needs and level of the students.
The structure of my lessons is standard but flexible, always depend on the needs of the students.
At the beginning of the lesson, we start by reviewing prerequisite learning.
Provide a short statement of goals.
Present new material in small steps, with student practice after each step.
Give clear and detailed instructions and explanations.
Provide a high level of active practice for all students.
Ask a large number of questions, check for understanding, and obtain responses from all students. Thus using formative assessments to determine student mastery.
Guide students during initial practice.
Provide systematic feedback and corrections.
