About Amara
My MA in Music Education from McGill is the bedrock of my vocal training. 11 years of experience have shown me that a healthy voice is the most important instrument you own. My background includes working with newcomer kids and adults in Canada, which keeps my teaching style grounded. Each voice is a unique project.
I prioritize vocal health, range extension, and pitch control to ensure longevity. We will build the confidence you need to stand behind a microphone. I look forward to seeing how your voice develops over our time together.

The best way to improve your singing is often to stop thinking about your throat entirely. I create exercises that target rhythm, phrasing, and harmony singing by focusing on your body as a whole instrument. Since I hold an MA from McGill, I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes for every student.
Intermediate learners and advanced students gain the most from these structured, technical routines. My 11 years of experience ensure that your exam preparation or performance goals receive the attention they deserve. I teach microphone technique to help you feel secure in any setting. We will keep the music at the heart of our work.
