About Anastasia
Struggling with rhythm during those difficult chord transitions can be frustrating for any player. You deserve a clear path to mastery, which is why I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home. This allows you to apply your newly learned fingerpicking patterns in a musical context rather than just staring at tabs. My lessons rely on the core theory I studied at Humber College to ensure you understand exactly why a specific note choice works.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in English and a BM in Guitar from Humber College is where my formal training began. I have spent 13 years teaching, and I find that the technical requirements of reading sheet music and fingerpicking are just as important as the emotional connection to the instrument.
Whether you are a hobbyist looking to refine your chord transitions or an advanced learner targeting grade exam prep, my approach remains consistent. I have taught 256 students, ranging from performance-focused players to casual hobbyists who simply want to sound better at home. My background allows me to break down complex theory into manageable pieces for any student level.
I keep things moving forward through structured practice that honors your specific goals. You will find that I emphasize the mechanics behind the music so your hands develop the necessary muscle memory over time.
