About Maxwell
"Sometimes I find that the most complex guitar parts actually stem from the simplest musical ideas. Having worked with 371 students, I have learned that everyone has a unique path to understanding the fretboard.
My 8 years of experience have taught me to blend formal theory with practical playing techniques for home studio owners. We cover everything from reading sheet music to mastering intricate blues progressions. I enjoy helping people refine their strumming patterns and ear training to build a solid musical foundation.
Maintenance and tuning are just as important as learning lead guitar or power chords. It is rewarding to see someone realize they can finally play the songs they admire. I promise to keep our sessions grounded in real playing habits that suit your specific pace and style."

"A typical session starts with a quick diagnostic check to see exactly where your hands are most comfortable on the neck. We might spend time adjusting your tuning or discussing the physics behind your favorite power chords. My BS Audio Engineering background allows me to show you how to record your practice sessions for better critique. You will gain comfort with music theory as we apply it directly to your current songs.
I guide you through the nuances of lead guitar playing by focusing on clean technique and expressive phrasing. We break down complex blues progressions into manageable steps that make sense for your current skill level. Keeping your gear in top shape ensures you stay motivated to pick up the instrument daily.
It is genuinely enjoyable to watch you develop a better ear for subtle melodic changes. We will ensure the learning process feels rewarding and technically sound every single time we meet."
