About Clair
Performing in Washington DC remains the heartbeat of my musical life. I earned my Diploma in Music Performance 13 years ago. My current focus centers on electric technique and music theory alongside songwriting and reading sheet music.
You can also expect help with improvisation and soloing or chord transitions. Blues progressions and scales and modes are staples here as well. Ear training rounds out my technical toolkit for students. Reach out if you want to chat about your playing goals.

Guitar instruction functions best when it mimics the organic flow of a live stage set. You will hear the clear resonance of your own strings ringing out as we refine your sound.
We establish a foundation for beginners while pushing intermediate players toward their goals of playing at parties or recording their first EP. Those sessions focus on practical application of your new skills rather than dry drills. A 6.0 rating reflects the dedicated work we put into your craft.
Monthly recorded review of progress helps track what you achieve. It feels great to see a song come together from scratch.
